Sophia Lo (she/they) is an audio producer based in Pittsburgh, PA. They’re currently producing for City Cast Pittsburgh, a daily local news and culture show.

Previously, Sophia freelanced with Gilded Audio on Health Matters, NewYork-Presbyterian’s weekly interview podcast. She was a production assistant for StoryCorps Studios, where they also worked with the broadcast team on a piece for Morning Edition. Sophia has contributed to projects at Futuro Studios, including The Sum of Us and Radical Imagination. 

Sophia graduated from Northwestern University in 2021 with a major in journalism and minor in Asian American studies. While in college, she was a multimedia intern with WBEZ’s Curious City.

When she’s not making or listening to podcasts, Sophia is recipe testing, boxing, and exploring the mines in Stardew Valley. And of course, making sure that their cat, Pistachio, isn’t being too much of a little menace. Reach out below to collaborate with Sophia or swap recipes!
